Team Site
Above is a photo of the team site i was involved in working on. My team was great, and did everything they were supposed to do. I was involved in helping figure out the css but another group member redid what we had compiled in class on his own which turned out much better then what i had helped come up with. I also was responsible for the flash logo at the top of the page. I enjoyed learning more about flash and was happy to find out i hate Dreamweaver. I found it overly complicated for what results i would receive.
Inspiration Post
The most recent project was inspired by a song. This song is sung by Flogging Molly and is one of my favorites. Here is a link to the song Another bag of bricks on YouTube. The design i created was the flogging molly clover with " When you get to heaven may the devil be the judge" encompassing their logo.

JCPenny logo change
JCPenny decided to change their logo for the first time in forty years. They are doing this to make their logo reflect the new modern retailer they have become. To the right is a comparison of the new and old logos.(Image found here) Many people are concerned with this logo failing like Gaps logo failed, with a backlash from social media sites like Facebook and blogger. "When long-established companies, like Gap or J.C. Penney, change their visual branding, customers can become confused if no valid reason for the change is provided"(Kim Williams) I personally didn't like the lower case lettering, but might like if the JCP were still capitalized.

Blogger -vs- Wordpress
Coming from someone with limited knowledge in blogging, and having never used WordPress. I went to WordPress's site and read the about page. I found that it contains a software you install to help keep track of posts, and is one of the largest blogging tools. When looking at the different things WordPress offers i realize it has more flexibility and customizations then Blogger does. I feel that it may be more complicated then Blogger and may be for more advanced users. To the left is a screen shot from the front page of WordPress showing some of the software.
